Brain tumour spotted after a regular eye test

A boy from Newcastle is recovering from having a brain tumour removed which was first spotted after a regular eye-test.

After Cameron had been suffering from headaches and dizzy spells, his parents took him for a routine eye test.

But what was discovered saved his life. It turned out he had actually been suffering from the effects of a brain tumour. It was removed just four days later and Cameron is now recovering well.
