Lenses
Great lenses start with the right advice.
Your lenses need to work for your prescription, your eyes and the way you use your glasses.
At Keyes & McClellan Eyecare, our experienced team will explain your options clearly and help you find the right balance of vision, comfort, lens design and price.
What can I expect to pay?
As a guide, our lens prices are:
- Single vision: £160–£410
- Bifocal: £240–£390
- Occupational: £290–£440
- Varifocal: £350–£860
These prices are for lenses only; frames are additional. The final price depends on the lens design, material and level of thinning required.
Which lenses are right for me?
Single vision
For one specific viewing distance, such as distance, reading or computer use.
Occupational
Designed for the distances you use most at work or at home, making them particularly useful for computer and desk-based work.
Varifocals
One pair of glasses for distance, intermediate and near vision, with no visible line across the lens.
Thin & Light
A thinner, lighter option that can be particularly useful for stronger prescriptions, helping to reduce lens weight and improve the cosmetic appearance of your glasses.
Photochromic
Lenses that automatically darken in sunlight while providing 100% UV protection. Available with most lens types.
